Q Notes, Day 115

We're in roughly the middle of the summer, and it's time to start thinking about the beginning of the new school year. This is a matter of personal interest to me because I'm related to so many people who are public school teachers or students. It's too soon to know how school reopening will be handled in Texas, but one thing is certain: Donald Shunk should not be allowed to have any role in the decision-making at all.

We should hope that taxpayers and voters in every school district demand accountability from state and local officials making decisions that will impact their families and communities, and won't settle for Donny Shunk FUBAR 2.0.

The Lincoln Project knows how to do this stuff.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
