Thumb-Sucking

"Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some worms."

When I was a kid in elementary school, that little verse was used to tease, taunt or torment any other kids who were feeling sorry for themselves. I recalled it while I read about Dookiebird's latest (Not) Truth (Anti) Social self-pity session. For somebody who wants to be considered a tough guy, he whines too damned much.

I think this crybaby routine should bore any people who aren't MAGA Magoos.

Ladies of the Plight

The MAGA Maggot (MM) party isn't particularly friendly turf for women (see Liz Cheney), and two of its female members have been taking fire lately.

Nikki Haley was considered a promising prospect as a Republican, before the GOP was replaced with the open bottomless sewer ruled by Donno Doody. Haley was part of the first (and probably last) Doody administration as U.N. ambassador, and now she's running against him for the (MM) nomination in 2024 - opposing him without explaining why she's better than he is for America.

I've seen some arguments re: the pros & cons of candidate Nikki Haley for Democrats. Some (D)s hope she wins the (MM) nomination since it would end Doody's political career, and she would probably lose to Joe because she shares things that (MM)s hate about Kamala Harris (gender & ethnicity). Other dismal (D)s fret that Nikki would defeat Joe because she's younger than he is.

At any rate, Haley's been slowly gaining some support in her party since there are still a few Republicans who refuse to drink the MAGA Kool-Aid. On the other hand, she's being scorned for failing to acknowledge that slavery was the main cause of the Civil War.

In other news, Rep. Bim Boebert has realized her current Colorado district is getting fed up with her embarrassing horseshit, and she might face better odds next year if she switched to another district. Poor dim Bim may have screwed up again by misjudging how she would be welcomed in the new district.

Q NOTES No. 1,126: Saturdazed

The stereotypical MAGA moron will often be an older, less educated, rural white male who watches several hours of Fox News each week while he drinks beer. He'll be a guy who can't explain the Woke concept but knows Woke is bad. These dudes are mostly living examples of willful ignorance who deserve to be fleeced, which they will be when they start protesting by boycotting the affordable six-packs for that more expensive brand.

The christian (sic) dominion advocates who believe theocracy should replace democracy in the United States want everyone to believe god (sic) will punish those devils who are persecuting Mongo Wrongo. Sorry, bozos, but it's obvious to me that wherever god is, she isn't in business to protect this country by destroying evil. Since she's not, there are too many christian dominion advocates running the MAGA Monkey party.

Worthless Redneck Trash

The term that describes it best may be "aggressive ignorance."

Donnie Disaster's constituents are who you'd expect them to be: the dregs of American society. There's nothing he's done or ever will do that will force them to experience a revelation and atone.

Update: Politicus USA reports that Donnie Disaster is planning to go to war against the only people who might have the power, the resources, and the motivation to squash him like a fucking cockroach.

Shut 'er down

Daily Kos explains why the next shutdown of the federal government might be permanent. Here's a hint: It involves Donnie Placenta and Chinless Mitch McConnell.

Rule One in American politics: Never, under any circumstances, give the Republican Party simultaneous control of the legislative and executive branches. Failure to adhere to Rule One always results in disaster, usually on a grand scale. It makes no sense to turn responsibility for governing over to people who hate government, have no interest in governing, and lack the skills and aptitude required to be effective.

Rationalization

Daily Kos: Steve Bannon and Fox News believe the best way for Republicans to win in 2018 will be to wrap themselves in the arms of Donnie Jerkinov.

Added 5:55 PM: A coalition of the decent? I really like the sound of that. Maybe we can build something along those lines.

His most recent shower was in 1992.

Losers of all kinds

Robert Jeffress is constantly saying stuff that results in a lot of black marks against conservative evangelical Christians. For every 10,000 black marks against evangelunatics, I'd say Jeffress is responsible for 9,999 of them.

Pat Robertson? Is he still alive? Add Paul Manafort to the list of things Pat doesn't know shit about.

You show me a white person who thinks of himself as an oppressed minority in the United States, and I'll show you a pathetic loser who needs to get off his ass and stop watching Fox News for a change.

Whenever Donnie TRashdUMP gets nervous about things closing in on him, he says or does something outrageous to distract the media, take attention away from his problem, and get his fan club members all excited. This week, he used the suggestion of starting a nuclear war with North Korea, and sure enough, that's what everyone's talking about. The threat is so serious that TRashdUMP even cancelled his three-week golfing vacation... not really.

Digby has another update on the disturbing stupidity of so many of your typical TRashdUMPers. This time it concerns postponing the next presidential election if that's what Donnie wants.

Chicken Shit, Part 2

Another Republican coward advocates eliminating interaction with constituents in town hall meetings to prevent citizens from exercising their second amendment right to express dissent against the government with a loaded firearm.

Maybe if they were working openly every day to make life much better for their constituents, they wouldn't need to worry about unhappy voters.

But noooo...

Another stinking pile

Pathetic, hopeless and rotten

We're regularly reminded of how rotten and pathetic Republicans are each time they try to defend Donnie Two Scoops.

Anyone who still believes Donnie Two Scoops also believes a fairy will leave a dime if they slip a tooth under their pillow. Anyone who believes Donnie's problem is that he's as innocent and naive as a child in the ways of Washington hasn't been paying attention and should be scorned and ridiculed. When a nasty shit weasel like Cheese Prince excuses Fat Daddy's crimes as a product of naivete, he doesn't believe it... but he knows the dead-end idiots in Fat Daddy's fan club will eat it up with spoons.

It looks like Fat Daddy's approval will probably settle in at about 35 percent, and the entire Republican Party is still determined to be chained to him. What will the other 65 percent (the decent people) do then?

Too innocent to know better

Movement detected

There were people lining up to watch Pootin' as his parade passed. Not many, but some.

The Trump Movement is basically a bowel movement.

After Fatso's inauguration speech, the only Americans who aren't thoroughly embarrassed are the ones who are incapable of experiencing embarrassment.

America has fallen from the Number One spot among nations. Probably somewhere in the mid-20s now. Further disgrace forthcoming when Fatso starts work on Monday.

The America that Fatso described in his rant is not the America we have today. It's the third world shit hole that will remain when he's finished sexually abusing us.

Colin Powell

If Colin Powell had any friends left in the Republican Party, he's lost them now.

Douchebaggery

Once in awhile, some conservative asshole slips up on camera and says something truthful. As soon as he realizes what he's done, he starts trying to undo the damage.

Sorry, Kevin, you worthless douchebag, you just confirmed what every intelligent American already knew.

Mrs. Clinton's Mail

Headline in the Opinion section of this morning's Dallas paper:

What do you think is going on with Hillary Clinton's emails?

To answer the question in the headline above, I don't know what's going on with Mrs. Clinton's emails. I doubt if there're more than a handful of people who do.

As a careful observer of conservative behavior for several decades, I'm positive that what's going on with those emails is nothing remotely as felonious as what conservatives are claiming. Like the boy in the fable, they're constantly "crying wolf." Intelligent people stopped paying attention to their false alarms years ago, when it became obvious that fear is the only product conservatives are selling.

Unlike conservatives, I don't have a screaming need to witness the annihilation of Mrs. Clinton before the election campaign gets underway for real. I can wait patiently to see what facts emerge from non-partisan investigations, then judge accordingly.

Donald Dilemma

The Republican Party seems to be facing a perfect dilemma. There's no way to deal with Donald Trump that doesn't create a fresh set of problems. I guess they'll have to hope that God steps in and works it out for them.

Added 11:34 PM Sunday 26 July: The polls show El Donald is more popular with Republican assholes now than he was before he trash-talked Johnny (Ace) McCain. This proves the assholes turned against Ace after he went out and lost the 2008 election to that N.

Change

As soon as Republicans lose a major political battle, they want to make radical changes in the way American government operates: Let's abolish the electoral college, let's elect Supreme Court justices, and so forth. Oddly enough, these are about the only times they aren't terrified by the idea of change.

The End of The World

Alan Keyes, who planned to be the first black President of the United States but couldn't even win the GOP nomination, is still loitering on the sidelines of politics. He says if the Supreme Court makes same-sex marriage legal, it might result in a civil war.

Personally, it won't affect my life one goddamned bit if gay people are allowed to marry, and I goddamned sure won't fight in a war over it. But maybe Alan Keyes will be willing to fight and die for his cause.

Go ahead and add James Dobson to the list of right-wing religious lunatics who see gay marriage as the end of the world as we knows it.

Change

Cliven Bundy and Donald Sterling and their comments on racial matters in recent weeks have caused a lot of RWers who post comments online to drag out their standard response: The strongest opposition to the civil rights legislation of the 1960s came from southern Democrats, and in fact it did. But Lyndon Johnson (D) was able to get it passed with the support of congressional Republicans. The RWers ignore the rest of the story.

In the 1960 presidential election, Kennedy (D) carried North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas. Alabama split its EC vote between JFK and Sen. Harry Byrd.

In the 1964 election, Goldwater (R) carried South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Johnson (D) carried North Carolina, Arkansas and Texas.

In the 1968 election, George Wallace, running as a third party candidate on a segregationist platform, carried Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Richard Nixon (R) won North Carolina and South Carolina. Humphrey (D) carried Texas.

In the span of one decade, the former CSA went from solidly Democratic to solidly Republican. Was that because all those racist Democrats moved out, or did they just switch parties?

Monday Humor

It always makes me smile when Republicans are acting like they don't know whether to shit or go blind.

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Let's hope he's right.

Erick Erickson, at the extremist Red State website, predicts the scrambling among radical right-wing House members to dig out of the hole they're in will lead to a third party movement that will divide the GOP.

Is that a promise, motherfucker?

Free

Free at last, free at last. Great god almighty, he free at last. Tom DeLay's conviction has been reversed by a Texas appeals court. Now he can get his concealed handgun permit back.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
