Q NOTES 1243: Restitution

Special Counsel Jack Smith is still busy finding crimes committed by Donny Sue Phlunck, and it's driving the waste of shit insane. The most recent development involves all that money, maybe millions of dollars, in donations from MAGA morons who believed that phony bullshit about the 2020 election that was being unloaded. Mister Smith is investigating the probability that nearly all the dough was collected through fraudulent means, which could result in Phlunck being required to refund it to the donors. If he is, it should spell trouble since he's probably spent much of the loot already. Donny Sue's crazier than a shithouse rat without this headache.

Meanwhile, among christian (sic) evangelunatics, there's a growing attitude that Jesus was too damned liberal.

Q NOTES # 732: Collective Insanity & Fiascos

Televangelunatic Pat Robertson actually ran for the (R) nomination back in 1988, and is still proving how lucky we are that he was never president.

The one guy who was definitely a worse so-called precedent (sic) than Pat Robertson might have been? Of course that would be the nacho man, Donnie Pukepuddle. Watching that fat fuck squirm around trying to find his safest position in relation to rootin' tootin' Pootin is cringeworthy.

Word of the day: fiasco (defined as a complete failure, especially if ridiculous or humiliating)

Steve Bannon isn't quite human enough to be accurately called the human garbage dump, and he was virtually unknown among decent Americans until his trysts with Pukepuddle went national in 2016. The only thing about Bannon that might be of the slightest interest is wagering on the number of weeks he could survive a prison sentence in Pootin's Russia.

Former vice precedent (sic) Mike Punts is now officially no longer a member of Donnie Pukepuddle's team and will not be considered for (anything) in the next Pukepuddle term. Given the direction in which things are headed, Punts caught a lucky break.

Nasty skank Empty Greene, focused on being the poster girl for Trumpunklican worthlessness, has added devotion to Pootin to her repertoire of putrid gimmicks. Ideally, support for Ukraine against Russia will solidify as the U.S. majority position, leading most (if not all) Putin allies to the rapid conclusion of their political careers.

The more I learn about them, the clearer it becomes that for Trumpunklicans, a nearly-perfect America would be completely controlled by extremely conservative white religious fundamentalists. Biblical law (dominionism) would replace secular (constitutional) law, and voting would be the exclusive privilege of white male property-owners (again).

The obvious problem is that those who are intelligent, sane, decent human beings would never want to live in the hellhole that would be the Trumpunklican vision of a perfect society.

Evangelicals, shutdowns, definitions, etc.

From AlterNet: Is it the trump plus Jesus, or the trump versus Jesus?

On the government shutdown: The trump decided to run his 2016 campaign by directly aiming everything he had at winning the support of the dumbest, creepiest, rottenest Republican voters (which happens to be about 3/4ths of them). He probably had some spontaneous impulse to tell them he'd build a giant wall across the southern border, and force Mexico to pay the bill. As soon as the words left his lips, the yokels went crazy and the trump knew he had them. The bullshit about the wall and Mexico became a standard plot element in his reality show... even though it started as just another ad lib to wow the crowd, not a rational policy proposal.

The motherfucker has lived his life writing checks with his loud mouth that his flabby ass can't cash.

Defenestration is a word I'm adding to the "routine usage" section of my vocabulary. I'm pretty sure it'll come in handy later.

Never underestimate the power of television to influence and motivate brain-dead conservative assholes.

The End of The World

Alan Keyes, who planned to be the first black President of the United States but couldn't even win the GOP nomination, is still loitering on the sidelines of politics. He says if the Supreme Court makes same-sex marriage legal, it might result in a civil war.

Personally, it won't affect my life one goddamned bit if gay people are allowed to marry, and I goddamned sure won't fight in a war over it. But maybe Alan Keyes will be willing to fight and die for his cause.

Go ahead and add James Dobson to the list of right-wing religious lunatics who see gay marriage as the end of the world as we knows it.

Subpoenas

Lisa Falkenberg, a columnist for the Houston Chronicle, has written an excellent piece on the latest butt hurt among right-wingers (the subpoena of sermons in connection with a lawsuit filed against the city).

When it comes to the separation of church and state, conservative Christians demand all of the protections the principle provides, but they refuse to accept any of the limitations. That whole bunch make me want to puke.

Solutions, Part I

When it comes to crazy motherfuckers, some of the worst ones are conservative Republican Texans. But Colorado also has some, and one of them is a guy named Klingenschmitt who thinks what this country needs is more exorcisms.

Schoolin'

I've become mildly interested in the issue of home schooling as an educational practice, and started searching the Internet for curriculum materials. Not that I want to buy anything; I just wanted an idea of what's available to parents who need their kids to get a better education than those government schools provide. I found a science textbook that should prepare a youngster for MIT, Harvard or Stanford. A company called Apologia is apparently a major player in the home school curriculum racket, as is Bob Jones University.

Meanwhile in Austin, Rick Perry, budding dominionist, continues to dream of a Texan theocracy with himself as the high priest. The legislature, lacking anything better to do, passed a bill that evidently makes it legal to say "Merry Christmas" in godless public schools.

El Perrito could barely wait to make a public show of signing the silly-ass thing, complete with assurances to persecuted Christians that he's looking out for their poor, mistreated asses. It's getting harder to find vestiges of sanity in this state's government every fucking day. In Texas, it's "Get religion or get the hell out."

Holy Wars

Michele Bachmann sounds off again, and the Battle of Religious Extremists drags on and on.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
