Q NOTES # 334

To get a real clear picture of what a worthless slime ball Little Lindsey really is, you only need to compare the things he says and does now to things he's said and done in the past. He's a snot bubble who stands for nothing. Zero, zilch, nada.

Q NOTES # 333

Cheez Doodle once said he could commit murder in public without losing any voter support, and at the time most of us laughed it off as the insane boasting of a mental case. Whether Cheezy could actually get away with murder is subject to debate, but apparently he can get away with encouraging his depraved followers to kill his VP. And the more I think about it, realizing that Cheezy has a mob of crazies who will happily commit murder for him probably explains why nearly every RepubliQan in Congress is afraid to cross him.

I was looking at a map of the United States this morning, and it occurred to me that we could convert five states (Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota) into an isolation zone for the relocation of the craziest Cheez Doodle supporters. Most of them are comfortable with the concept of segregation, and would probably prefer to live among their own kind anyway. The more we consolidate them, the easier it would be to keep an eye on what they're up to.

Naturally Lindsey Graham made his decision on the verdict long before the Senate trial began. He's been an accomplice in Cheezy's crime spree for months.

Q NOTES # 332

Anyone who watched the entire 14-minute video shown at Cheezy's second impeachment trial yesterday understands that the MAGA riot occurring on January 6th was in no way a spontaneous event. It was planned in advance, and went pretty much as the planners expected it would. It's therefore no surprise that so many people who have been identified and arrested are now confirming they were basically following the orders of their commander-in-chief.

Sen. Mike Shirkey of the Michigan state legislature alleges that the MAGA riot was a staged event that didn't involve many, if any, of Cheez Doodle's devoted followers. If he actually believes what he said, he's too fucking stupid to hold state office. If he doesn't actually believe it, he's just plain evil and should be booted out of government. Either way, he's totally dispensable.

The case against Cheezy is so strong, any (R) senator who votes to acquit him can justifiably be considered an enemy of the United States

It seems like for every (R) in Congress who's willing to do the right thing at least once, there are about 500 other (R)s who are ready to promptly condemn him (or her) for it. On the other hand, for every repulsive (R) asshole like Empty Greene, Jim Jordan or Louie Gohmert, who never does the right thing, there are usually fewer than a dozen other (R)s willing to criticize, much less condemn. The underlying message is something like "If you want to be popular in our club, you're expected to be a complete asshole."

The Rude Pundit has posted an excellent commentary about how refreshing it is to have a government with plenty of younger Democrats who don't give a fuck about RepubliQan angst over Joe's policy agenda, and aren't afraid to offend them.

Q NOTES # 314

Daily Kos has the timeline that should be the blueprint for the impeachment trial in the Senate next month.

Since Cheezy didn't pardon any of the domestic terrorists who were arrested after the January 6th attack, there probably won't be enough (R) senators willing to vote for conviction. It's crucial that a comprehensive and persuasive case is presented during the trial so that most Americans will regard the (R)s who vote to acquit as cowardly lowlife trash who don't give a damn about this country.

Cheez Doodle is spreading the word that he expects his threat to form a third party will influence the voting in the Senate impeachment trial. In reality, if his Patriot Party ever gets off the ground (unlikely), it will be another scam, like his university and his foundation. If Republicans were smart (they aren't), they'd start ridding themselves of the fat fuck right now. Instead, they'll insist on remaining chained to him while more and more decent Americans are happily moving on to a much better place.

Our justice system

The defendant has members of the jury over to his house for a nice lunch while he plans the verdict with them. How fuckin' cool is that?

Public Hearing 1

Apparently, the last line of defense will be Devin Nunes and Jacketoff Gym Jordan. That's a clear sign that Donny Shmenge thinks his only chance to survive impeachment is to minimize attrition among the Deplorable Disciples of Donny. They're the only Americans stupid enough to buy what Nunes and Jordan are trying to sell.

As expected, the media view is that the hearing on Wednesday lacked sizzle and spark. The media preference will always be reality TV over plain old reality. That's unfortunate.

Monday, November 11, 2019

The defense is resting.

From Politicus USA, here's one I haven't heard before: Donny Shmenge says wild-ass crazy shit all the time, on TV or wherever. Since he says crazy shit publicly, he can't be impeached for saying the same kind of crazy shit privately, can he?

Logically, I have to believe that if any sort of valid defense existed, Shmenge's lawyers would be all over Fox News and CNN with it. Since that's not happening, my logical conclusion is that there is no valid defense. The only remaining (R) option is to keep every Shmenge supporter's head spinning with hourly bombardments of ridiculous bullshit, and pray it's enough to stop them from wandering off the reservation.

From Daily Kos - The House (R) impeachment strategy is confirmed: Make sure none of the sheep stray from the flock. There's no defense of Donny Shmenge, just an effort to minimize the damage.

Life in the Bubble

Mick Mulvaney, up to his weak chin in the Ukraine mess, says he won't testify because he has something he calls absolute immunity. Sorry, Mulvaney, but even Jesus Christ didn't get absolute immunity. As one observer noted, maybe we should start teaching fantasy law like "absolute immunity" in our finest law schools.

Rule Change

The thing that's both amusing and infuriating in the news this week? For me, it's comparing the (R) arguments supporting the impeachment of Bill Clinton then to the (R) arguments opposing the impeachment of Donald Strunz now:

"Remember all that stuff we said was important, and the stuff we did, when we wanted to impeach Bill Clinton? Well, never mind."

On my list of reasons to hate those worthless motherfuckers, this is at the very top.

The only question any congressional (R) should be asked by the media from now on: If Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, or any Democratic president had done these exact same things, would they be impeachable offenses?

The Latest Noose, Part 2

It may or may not matter in the long run, but the case Senate (R)s want to use to protect Donny Strunz is crumbling, as explained in Washington Monthly today.

There are people who believe women can't handle the responsibilities of the presidency, but there are two women who would be about 1,000,000 times more effective in the office than Donny Strunz is now or ever could be. Washington Monthly has the story. Madam Speaker and HRC seem to be the only ones willing to cut to the chase when it comes to Strunz's big sellout in Syria and Ukraine.

How do I know the Strunz is in serious trouble? The clearest hint is that he's stating that the military, the police, and all those geezers on motorcycles are ready to go violent (killing people) if their hero (the Strunz) is removed from office. He already knows there are a few mental defectives who'll kill people if he recommends it. Of course, it didn't take long for religious assholes to start banging the same pot. Apparently every religious asshole in the country is lining up to tongue-bathe the fat fuck.

The media reports were wrong again. Hillary's warning about third party candidates still deserves serious attention. Speaking of the media, I still don't understand why they report every word Strunz speaks or tweets as if it was serious news, when everyone has learned that his lies will be exposed within 30 minutes, maybe an hour at most. Why not report it with disclaimers, like "This is what he said, but don't assume any of it's true."

Final thoughts for Thursday: It's obvious that everything Strunz and his band of zombies (Gaetz, Jordan, Gohmert, et al) say and do has one purpose only: to entertain the hardcore deplorable base and keep them in a frenzy. And based on the kind of things they're saying and doing, they know the hardcore followers are stupid fools who'll believe anything they're told

Last night I dreamed that Booger Barr, Moscow Mitch, Matt Gaetz, Lindsey Graham and other Strunz enablers were being attacked by huge packs of wild dogs. I slept through the whole thing.

Vicious Cycle?

TALKING POINTS MEMO suggests that we may be seeing a cycle where
  • the impeachment/removal from office threat gains momentum in the House and attracts increased voter support,
  • causing the Strunz to get nervous and start acting impulsively to prove to his base that he still has power.
  • Donny's impulsive actions create a furor in the media and anger among Congressional (R)s,
  • which forces him to back down, but usually too late to prevent bad outcomes (as in Syria).
  • The blowups which follow his stupid moves result in additional pro-impeachment momentum,
  • and the cycle is repeated.

Go pound sand, motherfuckers.

Warning: This space is being used to vent a little rage.

The one part of the federal government that is controlled by Democrats is the U.S. House of Representatives, and I can't imagine that Madam Speaker plans to get into a power-sharing agreement with shit puddles like Kevin McCarthy.

Who do we believe, Donny Guano or Dis-Pence? It creates problems when every Republican in politics is a goddamned lying fuck.

While I'm on the topic of shit puddles, since when are we supposed to change our opinion of Donny Guano based on something Moscow Mitch said?

It's common knowledge that Disciples of Donny still believe he's the all-time grand master of negotiating deals, but if they weren't stupid assholes, they wouldn't be (R)s in the first place. I doubt there are any (D)s in Congress who'll fall for his newest scam.

Buckle up, buttercup.

The impeachment train hasn't even left the station yet, and The Trump Dump has already started using it to rip off Donnie's pod people. That should come as no surprise to anyone who's been keeping up.

Also not surprising is today's Twitter rant from Donnie Donuts, which may set a new standard for self-pitying horse shit. He repeats his claim that no president in history was ever treated as badly as he's being treated now. I imagine Abraham Lincoln and JFK might beg to differ.

Added 6:54 PM Wed: There have been a number of branches popping out of this tree trunk all day. At the moment, the ones that look promising involve Pence, Booger Barr, and Rudy Poot. It's almost like Donnie wants to take them down with him.

Added 5:43 PM Thursday: Add Pompeo and Mulvaney to the list of potential casualties.

The Impeachment Question

One of several questions I'd like to have answered: Among voters who don't want Donnie Detritus impeached, how many of them are worried that acquittal in the Senate would help him win reelection? The media try to hint that people being AGAINST impeachment = people being FOR Donnie.

I don't think so.

By any other name?

Here's a great idea: Stop calling it "impeachment" and call it "criminal investigation" instead. Market the product so that it sells.

Saturday Odds and Ends

The latest polls indicate that Donnie Thud isn't getting any more popular. Maybe even less popular. Looks like "strong approval" is below 30 percent now.

Democrats in the House may be taking a look at speeding up the impeachment process now that the fat stool sample is making the case for them.

I can't shake off the feeling that Bernie Sanders will be a bigger problem for Democrats in 2020 than he was in 2016, if that's possible. I can't imagine a scenario in which he defeats the stool sample, but I can imagine one in which he helps the stool sample win.

Added 4:18 PM Sunday: Booger Barr is going weak-kneed over the idea that he might be interrogated by REAL attorneys when he appears before the House Judiciary Committee. I hope they peel Booger like a piece of fruit.

Added 7:17 PM Sunday: The chinless wonder doesn't realize how lucky he is that I don't hold his fate in my hands as the supreme authority in the galaxy. As we've all learned, Donnie Thud is a problem, but he's not the whole problem. If it weren't for all those assholes who are enabling him, we could fix the Donnie problem in a few weeks at most.

Nixon

Poor Tricky Dick Nixon. He didn't have the "My Feelings Were Hurt" defense available to excuse criminal obstruction of justice in 1974. If the Republicans then were as totally fucked up as the current ones are, he might've been president for the rest of his life.

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
