Monday, Monday

I'll probably be cooped up in the house today, although the updated weather forecast is substantially better than the one I saw before I went to bed last night, predicting potentially damaging winds and enough rain to cause flooding.

There's an interesting argument at Daily Kos supporting Joe's decision to continue as the Democratic nominee: Several states that Joe won in 2020 (Georgia, Nevada and Wisconsin) would be lost to the Democrats in November thanks to various state laws regulating candidate replacements and ballot changes.

One of the most critical political matters hasn't received nearly as much media coverage as it needs: the TRashdUMP's connection to the Heritage Foundation's fascist agenda (Project 2025). Picture the lunatics planning the end of American democracy wearing those red armbands with the black swastikas on them.

For months, most voters had never heard of Project 2025, but a leader of this conspiracy showed up for a podcast interview to promote his baby, and got enough media reaction that the waste of shit, aka Donnie Dog Sass, soon protested that he knew little or nothing about Project 2025.

It's easy to recognize the darkest, deadliest, most dangerous Dog Sass plots: those he claims he knows nothing about and has never been involved in. Since nearly every word from his mouth is a damned lie, his denials should be a flashing red Danger Ahead warning to patriotic Americans.

If being ridiculed for stupidity was fatal, suspected drag queen Empty Greene would have been cremated long ago.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
