Q NOTES # 815: Common Sense

Okay, it's time to get serious. The House 1/6 committee begins public hearings on prime time TV tomorrow night. The big three major networks (ABC, CBS and NBC) will join CNN and MSNBC in carrying live coverage. The fact that Fox News is refusing to participate is additional proof that it's not actually a cable news network at all. Fox News specializes in entertainment for morons, misfits and malcontents.

Common sense tells me that if the Department of Justice will indict the followers for seditious conspiracy, there's no reason the leaders can't be indicted for the same crime.

Common sense also tells me that if they believed everything they did was legitimate, Duhmp and his accomplices would be demanding to testify instead of looking for places to hide.

Democratic chances of winning elections improve when they run against Duhmp and MAGA. Their chances may improve even more after the televised 1/6 hearings.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
