Why do Republican voters love Tiny Tallywhacker? The main reason is probably because as long as he's in office, they can keep believing they're the NORMAL people.
I came across this idea in a comment at Kos, and decided it makes as much sense as any of the other opinions on the matter I've seen.
The deplorables were unleashed when Tiny started hawking the idea that Political Correctness (in other words, decent, courteous behavior) was keeping America from being great like it was back in the 1950's. Tiny made it acceptable to behave like a shit ass, because it was the patriotic thing to do.
Behaving like a shit ass isn't normal. Yet.
