Q NOTES # 616: Short Cuts 76

There are too many mentally defective Trumplicans who actually believe the most important things in life are (a) owning guns and (b) firing guns. They have a new hero today. He's an 18 year old punk named Rittenhouse who got away with killing two people in Wisconsin, and will soon be the biggest celebrity in Trumplican World next to Troomp himself. He has actually lived what Troomp could only dream about: shooting people in the street without losing a single vote. Even better, no prison sentence.

Today I read several reports on various aspects of a single issue: the uneasiness that leaders of what was the Republican party, and is now the Trumplican party, are experiencing over the self-centered actions Troomp is obsessed with. Troomp is determined to keep the focus on himself and the 2020 election, and intends to replace "disloyal" Trumplicans with others who are devoted to him. Party leaders believe this will result in unelectable lunatics forcing out electable incumbents, a disaster for them in terms of gaining congressional majorities next year. This looks increasingly like a perfect dilemma for Trumplicans, who deserve to suffer punishment for their  refusal to deal with this mental case when the opportunities were right there. If they continue to acquiesce, they lose. If they resist him, they still lose.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
