Q NOTES # 598: Short Cuts 70

Demoralized Democrats don't definitely dictate doom. Maybe it's too soon to open a vein, after the disappointment in Virginia last night. There are Democrats who won't vote if Dimito Assolini isn't on the ballot, even if one of his trained lap monkeys is.

If every person who voted strictly on the basis of their fear and stupidity was disqualified, Democrats would win every election by 98.6 % to 1.4 %.

It may take a little time to sink in, but the only notable Trumplican win yesterday was the lap monkey (Youngkin) taking the VA governorship, which he accomplished by overtly putting as much distance as possible between himself and Dimito Assolini. What are the ramifications for future elections, and Asolini's domination?

What I really want to see is this: Most Trumplican politicians, including some in the reddest of the red states, putting miles of space between themselves and Assolini. How would The Big Crapper react to a distinct message that nobody wants or needs him anymore? I think it would be must-watch entertainment.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
