Q NOTES # 579: Short Cuts 65

There's a tidy little write-up @ Daily Kos this afternoon, addressing the status of the Trumplican Party at the moment. 

The conventional wisdom for years has been that everything Fatso touches, dies. Nothing that's happened since he left the world of reality TV shows for politics has created a need to reevaluate his destructive tendencies. As a so-called precedent (sic) dominated by Vladimir Putin, Fatso damaged the country in ways we probably haven't even uncovered yet. That's the bad news. On the other hand. there are enough brain-dead social misfit MAGA voters to give Fatso effective control of the party's agenda, which now consists of only two items: 

• Absolute, unquestioning loyalty to Fatso, and
• reversing the 2020 election

This week, Fatso circulated a statement saying essentially that Trumplicans no longer have any responsibility more important than overturning his 2020 election loss, and if they fail to do so, the party's voters will sit out the 2022 and 2024 elections. What isn't exactly clear is whether this is a simple warning or a deliberate threat. 

I believe Fatso may fear that without the total freedom from accountability he enjoyed in the White House, he probably can't survive the next three years as a viable presidential candidate. He probably realizes that if one of the current Trumplicans (like Ronny Death Sentence or Ted Cruz) replaces him as the 2024 nominee and wins - his power as the ultimate authority figure in the party will disintegrate. His selfish needs are better met with Joe or Kamala in the White House, instead of any of his current sycophantic lapdogs.

Politicus USA @ more insanity from Fatso. To be honest, if the Trumplican Twilight Zone wasn't so fuckin' weird, it would be hilarious. Fatso must be in at least the early stages of full panic mode, since he's replaced constant whining about having the election stolen from him with constant demands that Trumplicans throw out the 2020 election and put him back in the White House. Maybe those butt-sniffing lapdogs can draw straws to decide which one has to tell him.

Remember, you can't spell hatred without RED HAT.
