Q NOTES # 535: Short Cuts 42

Speaking strictly for myself, the Taliban in Afghanistan doesn't worry me nearly as much as the version in the United States. In today's news there are reports about an extremely radical law enacted by the Texas Taliban to abolish abortion, and a move by the Supreme Court that allows the Texas law to take effect. Then there are other reports that the U.S. white supremacy lunatics (who are proof that there's nothing supreme about white people) like what the Taliban achieved in Afghanistan so much, they'll use it as a model for the civil war they want here.

At least two of the RepubliQAns wasting oxygen in the House, McCarthy and Empty Greene, are making idle threats again. They're vowing to exact revenge if telecom companies turn over records to the 1/6 Committee which prove they were ass-deep in criminal insurrection.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
