The most recent updated data I've seen is that the COVID vaccination rate in Texas is 32 percent. Given the widespread misinterpretation of the latest CDC guidelines, I don't imagine the percentage will increase much any time soon. I'll be wearing masks indoors until the vaccination rate is around 75 %, and 80 % would be better. Since this is an incredibly fucked up red state, with idiots making up nearly 60 percent of its population, that may not occur in my lifetime.
