Down Time

Last Monday, my laptop PC, after several years of faithful service, went into permanent refusal to open up. As a result, I've spent most of this week so far trying to reconnect with the Internet, rather than reading stuff that's on there. The small amount of news I've seen indicates that the orange carcinoma is acting out his fantasies of supreme, unchallenged authority.

In my world, computer problems always override everything going on in the news. The Toshiba kept sending little signals for two weeks, warning me that something was coming, but I wasn't prepared for sudden death.

Added 11:23 PM: Maybe Bloomberg will be the one who demolishes Bernie (not a Democrat) Sanders, the (D) death wish candidate.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
