There's no disagreement among Americans who follow the news carefully that Donnie Slump has devoted his so-called precedence (sic) to implementing policies that are favorable to Russia. Evidence has been available since 2016, and more pieces of the puzzle are turning up nearly every day.
The question this afternoon is whether Slump is more accurately identified as a Russian agent or a Russian asset. In the jargon of international espionage, agents are people who are specifically recruited and groomed, then directed to carry out activities ordered by an intelligence service, while assets are persons or things that an intelligence service is able to use to its advantage (even without the asset's direct knowledge).
Based on things as they stand today, I'm pretty sure that Slump started as a Russian asset years ago, but since the 201 election, has been working up to agent status. None of the things Slump is doing are considered fortunate coincidences by Putin.
