More Bible, Fewer Bullets

Did you know that all these shooting sprees that result in mass murder were happening because the country isn't religious enough? Neither did I.

The christian dominion crowd is trying to score points by implying that more religion is the solution to violence. Apparently they believe that people like me have forgotten all about things that happened back in the days when the United States was a christian nation.

Update 12:31 AM Monday: You never realize just how ignorant, incompetent and unqualified Donny Guano really is until you read verbatim transcripts of his public statements, such as the one below [copied from Politicus USA]
Trump said that the mass shooting in Odessa, Texas, has done nothing to change his mind on doing something substantial about gun violence.
Trump said, “We’re looking at the same things. We’re in the process of dealing with Democrats, Republicans. They’ve been working hard on it. They’re coming back very S (?) we have a lot of groups working on it. I’ve been speaking to them. They’ve been speaking to a lot of senators and house members. A lot of Republicans. A lot of Democrats. And people want to do something. We’re going to see this really hasn’t changed anything. We’re doing a package, and we’ll see what — how it comes about. It’s coming about right now. And a lot of people are talking about it. And that’s irrespective of what happened yesterday in Texas.”
When you read what he said, right there on the printed page, you recognize the gibberish spewed by an asshole who communicates at a second-grade level on his best days, and is just running his mouth while hoping no one notices that he's saying nothing remotely resembling an authoritative or coherent statement.

Classic example of having nothing to say, but saying it anyway.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
