Civility is highly overrated. Right now, I want Democrats and independents who lean Democratic to be enraged. I want them all to be at least 20 times as pissed off as the angriest Deplorable for Donny voters. Rage is motivational when it comes to voting. I believe what this country needs is millions of voters who are totally fed up with this shit and are chomping at the bit to kick ass and take names, i.e., to start punishing people who seriously deserve punishment.

What I Believe

I'm rapidly becoming convinced that the following things are true:

• Donny Ringworm is a Russian asset, chosen by Putin because he's lazy, corrupt, and incompetent, i.e., perfectly suited for the mission -- rapidly destabilizing the United States, and permanently diminishing its prestige as a world leader. As his reward for turning a powerful nation into a third world shit hole, Donny got what he really wanted all along; to be the biggest TV star on earth and the center of attention every hour of every day. The chance to pocket millions of taxpayer dollars was icing on the cake.
• Republican voters are a lost cause. They finally have the prezdint (sic) they've dreamed about since LBJ and the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and they truly believe god sent him to them as the answer to their prayers during the Obama years. To them, everything Donny does is something god wants. 
• Conditions in Donny's Kiddie Koncentration Kamps are worse than people can imagine. If they weren't, the press with their cameras and microphones would be welcomed to quickly shut down the public uproar. What are they hiding? 
• Donny Ringworm has always been 50 miles of shit in a 12-inch tube, but what actually makes him dangerous is his complete ignorance and perpetual laziness. Donny's a guy who just wants to watch TV talk shows about himself and be adored by gymnasiums full of his fan club members. He gets ideas from Fox News and a few people in the White House who know how to manipulate him, like Bannon or Miller. And he answers to Putin, of course.

Just try to concentrate, okay?

There are probably many evil reasons, but here's one of them: Trump's child-stealing policy is part of his plan to give Republican base 'a reason to vote'

The obvious question is whether the policy will give Democrats and anti-Donnie independents a reason to vote.

The most recent Quinnipiac poll, released yesterday, shows that Republicans divide on the issue, with most (55 percent) for, and some (35 percent) against. The GOP has to decide whether to go along with the majority of their voters, or the majority of the country.

Update: If people are getting fed up with Donnie and his Gestapo now, what would the public reaction be if there were pictures of little girls in his concentration camps? The Gestapo knows. Are they worried that even the "Deplorable for Donnie" bunch might reluctantly decide they've finally had enough of this filth?

Here's the most important thing to remember about conservative evangelical religious lunatics: They can rationalize anything about anybody, because they live in some kind of fairy tale land in the first place.

My Theory of Why

Let's say you're a white person with a high school education who believes every word in the Bible is literally true. The chances that you voted for Donnie Diddlysquat are probably better than 60 out of 100. Now let's say you also believe that white people and Christians are being persecuted, and you get nearly all of your information from Fox News and conversations at the hardware store. Now the odds that you're a Donnie deplorable are more like 85 out of 100. If you also live in some rural red state shithole like Mississippi, Alabama, Utah, or Idaho, we're looking at 98 out of 100.

If you have a high school diploma, believe everything in the Bible is literally true, and get all your information from Fox News and your buddies, we've pretty well confirmed that deep analytical reasoning isn't your bag, and you'll believe anything if you hear it repeated on TV or in church often enough.

Republican politicians spent a lot of time and money on studies identifying the kind of people most likely to vote for them. They know most of the people they need to win elections will believe anything when they hear it repeatedly on TV or talk radio. They know they can win based on what they say, and what they actually do isn't very important to the people whose votes they depend on.

That's why GOP politicians are the way they are, and it's why we're in the mess we're in with Donnie Diddlysquat. Look at who's voting for them.
