Alabammie
The University of Alabama has an outstanding football team. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about the state of Alabama that comes to mind.
Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
