Paying the Price
In today's Republican party, there's a steep price to be paid for behaving like a responsible adult, as Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee will soon discover. Believe it or not, among Goofy Old People, Lamar is now regarded as too fucking liberal.
Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
