From what I'm reading, conservatives don't have a problem judging all Muslims by the actions of two who blew up the Boston Marathon. But hell breaks loose if anyone suggests that all gunowners could be judged by the actions of lunatics who shoot up schools and theaters. Anyone expecting consistency and reason from conservatives is in for a long wait.
