Willard: Another W.

I hate to admit it, but I was dead wrong about Willard. When the year began, I was pulling for him to win the Grand OLD Party nomination. I thought he had the stature to be an acceptable president, and I knew beyond any doubt that he was light years ahead of pond scum like Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Gingrich and Santorum.

Unfortunately, the longer this race drags on, the scuzzier Willard is turning out to be. He reminds me more and more of George W. Bush every day. All the personality traits that I despised in W. are emerging in Willard. So far, the only thing he's missing is W's shitty little smirk, and even that will probably turn up sooner or later.

Summer walks in Texas

Judging by the amount of water on driveways and sidewalks and in the street, some Texans seem to think you can grow concrete and asphalt using lawn sprinklers.
