Facing a noose?

Rudy Tootie is now referring to the Mueller investigation as a lynch mob. It's widely understood this is aimed at the dead-end losers who support Donnie, because if there's anything those assholes understand, it's lynching. The term "witch hunt" was too esoteric for most of them.

Those of us who are grounded in reality know Robert Mueller won't ever hang Donnie Uranus from a tree limb. Though many may consider that unfortunate, we must accept it as the way things are.

There are people who don't have an urge to puke when Donnie Uranus tweets, but I'm not one of them.

Here's something that could result in an amusing scenario: Mike Pence is making moves which suggest he'd jump at the opportunity to push Donnie Droppings aside, then take over himself. I despise Pence as much as I despise Donnie, so I'm in favor of anything that makes Donnie paranoid about what Pence is doing behind his back.

He's been bad again.

About once or twice a week, something is exposed that forces me to ask the question: Is there anything Donnie Schitz can do that would make Republicans decide they've finally had it up to here with him?

There really is such a thing as liberal media, but it's not on television. I stopped watching TV news because what was supposed to be objective journalism was actually something that looked like playing favorites, with the GOP favored over the Democratic Party. There was no liberal version of Fox News Channel available, other than two hours of prime time on MSNBC (Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell). I eventually located a few reliably liberal media sources, but I had to search the internet to do it.

Updated 2:57 PM Monday: If it's the beginning of a new week, there must be a fresh scandal involving the Donnie Schitz criminal enterprise popping up in the news.

Last night while I was away from my laptop, the New York Times ran a story that claimed to include 40-50 questions the Mueller investigators planned to ask Donnie Ben Golphin if he agreed to an interview with them. It's not exactly clear who in the White House leaked the questions and why, but it's pretty clear that Donnie was behind it for twisted reasons of his own.

In other news, Digby @ Hullabaloo offers a discussion worth reading about the Tax Freedom for Billionaires legislation passed last year.

Updated 2:01 PM Wednesday: Fox News confirms that the Questions in question were actually prepared by one of the Donnie Uranus lawyers, slimeball Jay Sekulow, which means they weren't leaked by anyone connected with the Mueller investigation.

The key to understanding Donnie Uranus is realizing that he's still doing the one thing he's kind of good at, which is staging a TV reality show for the entertainment of the assholes in his audience (the people Hillary referred to as the deplorables). It's all show biz, folks.

Updated again 4:22 PM Wednesday: Hullabaloo explains the so-called "rationale" behind the Questions question, which seems to be mostly based on Donnie Uranus's habit of only believing things that mesh with what he already believes or wants to believe (e.g., polls that show he's popular, or that he's somehow winning). Since he can fill any high school gym to capacity with uneducated white assholes on any given Saturday night, and be adored like a movie star, Donnie's now locked himself in the safety of his imaginary kingdom.
