Predictably unpredictable

New Republic on how the chaos created by the so-called precedent (sic) may produce lasting damage. The American system depends on some degree of certainty, and we aren't getting that.

The sad part is that it would only take a few Republicans in the Senate and a handful more in the House to put the brakes on this runaway train and restore at least a semblance of order. So far, not enough of them have shown the courage necessary to tackle the problem.

Washington Monthly on the reality check. The so-called precedent (sic) is now facing the same sort of obstacles that Barack Obama had to confront. If we're fortunate, the obstacles will be even more formidable for the bastard after the 2018 midterm election.
